A very beautiful bridge
The bridge of lies connects Small Square with Huet Square in the middle of Sibiu and dates from 1859. It is located above Ocna Street and has several legends. One of them says that lovers came to the bridge to swear their love and if anyone lied, the bridge collapsed. Another legend says that lying merchants or women who lied to their husband about their sentimental past were thrown out of here.

Favorite sight in Sibiu
The Bridge of Lies was the biggest reason (with the houses with eyes) to go to Sibiu for me. It is also the nicest sight in the ancient city. Although after 5 minutes you have seen it under, above and next to the bridge it is absolutely worth visiting this bridge. It is very cute and romantic.

Bridge of lies
This pedestrian bridge is the first castle iron bridge in Romania. But from e there is really nothing special apart from the location , nestled in teser square. A great spot to take pictures of the old town. The name comes from a different origin, the bridge was called Liegenbrücke, from German lying- lie down
