Waterfall, tarsiers, jungle trek

The Saluopa waterfall is magnificent - highly recommended! Besides the waterfall, do go on treks in the surrounding forest. I went with Petrus on two hikes - once in the day and once at night to see the nocturnal tarsiers. Petrus is an excellent wildlife guide who really cares for nature. He is enthusiastic about showing you how ingenious the local people are in using the bountiful natural resources of the forest and very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot about local flora and fauna. The tarsiers are adorable little critters - not to be missed! I should also add that Petrus was very patient and considerate of my urban clumsiness, and was attentive and always needful of safety. Highly recommend this experience with him.

    Tarsier watching
    I have been watching Tarsier with Petrus the locale guide it was a beautiful tour I have seen about 6 Tarsier.Petrus had been studying this animal so he is using special light for their eyes to watch them and does't disturb them too long so they can't get stressed.It's a beautiful monkey Laurens

    Great experience!
    Beautiful waterfalls, with multi levels! We also did an excursion with guide Petrus, searcing for the Tarsius. What a beautiful little animal whit his big eyes. Petrus is a super guide. He knows everything of the Tarsius, is enthusiastic, and very motivated to find him. And he considers the well-being of the Tarsius. We stayed at Tando Bone resort, a beautiful place and run by super friendly and enthusiastic people! You have to go there! Rop and Marjon, The Netherlands
