Nice Island Trip Near Makassar City

You can go by 20 minutes boat rides, it range from 300k-500k rupiah for chartering boat to go there. It's really beautiful island, you can enjoy the sea view, sunset and also do snorkeling there. Try to find local there to enjoy full experience with good prices. I was met some locals there and she gave me decent deals. More people you had on your group the better you gonna get the price.

    a childhood expereince
    it was 1951, my father was a pilot for the makassar harbour. we would often go there for the day.i was ten years old then, i would jump off the little motorboat and swim the rest to shore. there was no commercialization back then, it was just a deserted island that was frequented by families for a day outing and picnic. i am sad to see that it has become so commercialized.

    Chartered a boat which cost around 400k rupiah. The boat ride was about 25 minutes. Once you reach the island, you will be shown to your designated shelter. They will collect the use of this resting deck about 100k rupiah before leaving. The coconut water costs about 25k rupiah. They sell grilled/ barbequed fish. You can swim in the crystal clear water or snorkeling. Or stroll around the island which takes about 20 minutes. We spent about two hours on this island.
