    A must see in Toraja
Bori is a village on the way from Rantepao to uphill Batutumonga in North Toraja area. I visited Bori using Kijang rent car, it took less than one hour from Rantepao to arrive at Bori. Certainly with several stops to take pictures of beautiful rice paddies and tongkonans along the way. The menhir and stone graves in Bori caught my eyes at once. Beautiful. Awesome. About thirty menhir stones stood there above green grass, along with some tongkonan. Each menhir stone represents one buried person. It seem that the taller the menhir, the more higher the social strata of the person. Another thing to see is graves that were craved into basaltic stones. A gigantic boulder was carved to hold 3 to 6 coffins inside, may be more, from the same family ancestry. One of the tomb was decorated by buffalo head - you must circle up the hill and then come down to see this tomb. Awesome. Must see in Toraja.
