Pori Art Museum has been famous for its modern and contemporary art exhibitions for over three decades. The museum shows only temporary exhibitions focusing on the new phenomena of the visual arts.See more..
5.0Emil Cedercreutzin Museo(5 reviews) - Hidden gem Art Galleries • Art Museums • History Museums
Not a well-known museum, and also a fairly unkonwn sculptor for a layman. Was very active, the museum exhibits tens of his sculptures and reliefs. The museum has several parts, and for me the most interesting was the massive collection of folklore: tens of items from almost every brand of life in days gone by, from rowing boats to household items. All very well put on display. Every hour there was also a guided tour to the artist's premises in one of the musum buildings. Enlightening and recommended. There is also a changing exhibit, this summer it was modern Japanese visual art. This is what attracted us to the museum in the first place, so the regular exhibits were an unexpected delight. This museum should make more noise about itself!See more..
5.0Samje(1 review) - In the middle of a wide rural area Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries
At countryside there is hidden a Tibetan stupa made of granite. You can park beside the monument. The nearby building has an exhibition of meditative art. Serene atmosphere around.See more..
Sanna Saarinen is a contemporary artist from Satakunta region of Finland. Her gallery is situated in the beautiful Old town. In her works, Saarinen uses a technique which combines hand-woven fabric with recycled metal and wood. She also creates pieces purely from recycled metal. Saarinen is fascinated by contrasts and it is displayed in her work. The seamless co-operation between different elements is a theme that carries throughout her art.See more..
