5.0Santojen Lenkki(1 review) - All the highlights of Yyteri Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 2-3 hours Hiking Trails
This short hiking route called Santojen lenkki is 5.3 kilometres long and it is a circle route. You see all the best parts of Yyteri here: the 6 kilometre long beach, the highest dune of Yyteri, pine forests etc. We started hiking anticlockwise from Yyterin aukio and the path was quite easy to walk. We had a coffee break in Holiday Centre Yyteri Beach Lomakeskus (Restaurant Dyyni). Munakarin säikkä is a very interesting sandbank (sand bar). It is 0.5 kilometres long. Sometimes it is under the sea level and sometimes partly above it. Along the sandbank it is possible to wade to Munakari Islet. However, it isn't allowed to do that between April 1st and July 31st, because birds are nesting there then. I would like to go there. So I have to come back here later. Besides, I wouldn't do that if the weather is cold or windy and waves are high. Santojen Lenkki is THE MUST in Yyteri. I really recommend it!See more..
This nature observation trail is 8 kilometres long in one direction. There are several bird watching towers on the route. The route is very easy to walk, because the path is flat and duckboards are quite good. However, they may be slippery, if the weather is rainy. I started hiking from Munakarin Säikkä on Yyteri Beach. I really recommend this route.See more..
3.0Herrainpäivien Luontopolku(1 review) - Nice nature path with sea views and deciduous woodlands Hiking Trails
Herrainpäivien Luontopolku (Herrainpäivät Nature Trail) is located on the Herrainpäivät Peninsula, Yyteri. This circle route is 1.1 kilometres long and very easy to walk. You see deciduous woodlands and sea views there. I walked from Yyteri Resort & Camping to the Herrainpäivät Peninsula along Golfpolku Trail and Kesätie Street. This was a very nice evening walk!See more..
