This is a great place to sit, have a drink, and people watch. It’s a very large market that combines food, drink, art, and music beautifully. It’s only open on weekends. It’s well designed and lit with thousands of white lights and filled with white tented vendors. There was no way to see all of it in just a few hours. Before you can buy any food or drink you must stop at the coupon booth because they only take coupons. If you buy too many you can return them for a refund up to an hour before closing. The prices are super cheap for various smoothies, mango & sticky rice, pad Thai, roti and other typical foods. It has a very talented Thai singer on stage singing for s couple of hours too. This is a Local food market is held only twice a week. Here is where the Tai buy their weekly food. We went there cycling from the Dolphin Bay Resort. It's only 10 minutes. We met not one other tourist, and the locals seemed not to mind is strolling along there. But then Tai always are friendly. You will find all kinds of food, clothes, necessities and the occasional phone shop. All prices are absolute low.
