  1. 4.0 Hua Hin Beach (4.664 reviews)
    - Hua Hin beach post Covid

    Hua Hin Beach image
In 2022 I spent 2 months in Thailand, March-May with 24 nights in Hua Hin. Of the 24 nights I walked Hua Hin beach 20 mornings after breakfast. The beach is one of the longest stretches of beautiful beaches I’ve seen in my travels. With covid still visible in the rear view mirror, the beach was sparse with tourists which was great for me. On Sunday’s there is giant kite instruction and several in the air. Daily there is rentals of beach wind carts, jet skis and horseback rides. The water was warm but cool enough to get relief from the extremely hot Thai sun. For me this is some of the most enjoyable and affordable forms of exercise in Thailand. Highly recommend. See more..

    Laem Sala Beach image
Did a short 350m odd hike (according to internet sources) after buying tickets (200tbh) to the Phraya Nakhon cave. Hike was quite steep initially but slowly eased out. There were also multiple viewpoints to take photos at during the hike. The beach itself was clean and relatively quiet with both locals and tourists. There were also individual and double swings which served as good photo spots. We saw some tourist asking the tourism people (in purple tops) working there to help them take photos which they seem polite and obliging about. After the hike to and fro Phraya Nakhon cave. We wanted to take a boat back to the main entrance as we figured the view would be the same. However, the waves were too big and no boats were operating. So we had to hike back. The hike back was easier though. Would recommend to do the hike to the beach to maximise your trip to the Phraya Nakhon cave. See more..
