4.5Boekhandel Dominicanen(2.791 reviews) - Charming bookstore in gothic century church Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings • Scenic Walking Areas
Absolutely charming! The store is a sight to see and offers three stories of books and wonderment. There’s a modest English section on the second floor as well as a few old/antique books on the top floor. The books are priced quite high comparative to other shops but it’s worth it for the visit and a nice espresso in the accompanying cafe. See more..
After a 3 year delay we got to see 'Andre' in The Vrijithof. It's a unique experience with lots of new material and some old favourites. Despite cancellations new tickets were issued with delay. The total atmosphere is unmissable and all embracing. We travelled by train via Eurostar/Brussels/Liege and Maastricht.See more..
4.0Market Square(992 reviews) - Beautiful square great for people watching Points of Interest & Landmarks
A lovely square in centre of Maastricht. The town hall is imposing and we loved the melodic bells chiming on the hour. It has lots of little bars and cafes and is lovely to sit in and watch the world go by. Seats can be in the sun or the shade and drink prices reasonable. €5 for a glass of wine. Mr H and I found it had a lovely friendly atmosphere and service at the bars was quick with lots of choice.See more..

This is a beautiful old stone bridge that allows you to cross the Maas river. It’s pedestrian and bicycles only. Part of the bridge had to be destroyed and rebuild taller in order to let commercial shipping through.See more..
4.0De Bisschopsmolen(580 reviews) - Such a Quaint place Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks
A water mill, very much alive and "kicking". A must see in Maastricht which takes you back in time. Not very much impressed with the over hyped attached bakery and their tarts. I found them rather "run of the mill"!!! See more..
It's not a 'wow!' But it's a 'heh, cool!' Kind of looked at it but the more impressive part is the square it is located, the place is full of cafes, pubs, restaurants and little shops. It is it has a nice atmosphere, a busy atmosphere. Nice place to relax and have a casual early evening meander.See more..
4.0Stokstraat(256 reviews) - Luxury shopping Points of Interest & Landmarks
Stokstraaf once belonged to the poorest part of the city. But then, city planners decided to renovate the neighborhood. They turned it into a lovely part of Maastricht, with beautiful buildings and great shops. It is not cheap to buy here, but even without buying anything, it is worth going here. See more..

4.0Statue of D'Artagnan(136 reviews) - Lovely walk Points of Interest & Landmarks • Monuments & Statues
We combined our pilgrimage to the death place of D’Artagnan with a walk from Helport along the outside of the city walk, we could have done this is 10-15 mins but we took about 40 minutes as there was so much to see, fantastic trees & carvings decorate the area. The university buildings were interesting from the outside. The statue was worth the wait. ‘All for one, One for All.’See more..
