   Welkom in Museum de Kantfabriek, gevestigd in de voormalige Zuid-Nederlandse Kantfabriek. Zij werd gebouwd in 1928 en is nu een Rijksmonument. In 2006 werd het sfeervolle dertiger jaren pand omgedoopt tot museum. De kantklosmachines staan nog klaar voor gebruik … We laten u de ontwikkeling van de textielnijverheid en -industrie in de regio Horst (N-Limburg) zien.    This is a great place to visit with younger kids (4-10). It is obviously created by someone who is nuts about strawberries. The place consist of lots of strangely shaped buildings with holes for kids to climb through. The layout is a bit chaotic, but that's also part of the charme that Strawberry Land brings. It's better to avoid this place if it is too warm as most of it has been constructed in greenhouses. Also bear in mind; this place is huge. The small restaurant is nice with friendly personel. Only reason why it is not worth 5 stars is due to the poor maintenance (the various strawberry varieties where no where to be found due to the weeds covering them) See more..
