We stopped here on our trip from Rijeka to Senj. This 1558 Nehaj Fortress sits boldly and starkly alone with a commanding view over the Adriatic to Krk Island. Although it was closed, today’s fine weather also gave nice views of the mountains to the back and historic Senj below. See more..
