4.0Špoljarić Watermill(5 reviews) - Watermill was the hook Points of Interest & Landmarks
Although the mill was what got us to Korana it was nothing special - there are better examples in Slunj and further South in Krka. What was appealing, just along from the watermill, were the tranquil blue waters of the stream/river that serves the village and the mill. There is a narrow grassy bank by the water which makes a good spot to picnic and sunbathe. Cars can be parked at the other side of the road on the verge. The waters are crystal clear and inviting, especially when the temperature was in the mid thirties. An excellent spot to relax after visiting the other attractions in the area. Very popular with the locals in the late afternoon, early evening.See more..
4.5National Park Sjeverni Velebit(5 reviews) - A beautiful scenery Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts • Scenic Walking Areas
I visited several national park in Croatia and I must say that this was not the most interesting one. There are two tops from where is quite nice scenery both to the mountains and to the sea. There is a restaurant and a nature trail. I guess the nature trail is lovely during spring time or in June-July but in September everything was withered. The restaurant was nice and the bean soup was tasty.See more..
