This beach is on the Karhula side and for some reason not actively marketed, perhaps because there are no services for visitors in the area. However, the beach is very nice and very popular among the locals. Very long shallow sand beach, especially kids do like it. Parking is easy and free. Small "dressing room" as well as a "bajama". Great place for jogging as well. No typical tourist services at all, bring your own food and drinks.See more..

I make an annual visit to Siltakylä and always make a point of coming to the lake. I was here last June and my friend and I did a circuit of the whole lake, including the beach. It was still a bit chilly, but there were hardy souls swimming and diving off the jetty. I've seen it crowded in August when I've been here. The view is really good and since the refurbishment of the lake and the addition of the fountain in the middle, it has become even better. There's a small kiosk selling simple food and drink right behind the beach near the jetty.See more..
