5.0Waimea Canyon State Park(8.501 reviews) - Definitely worth a visit! State Parks • Canyons • Lookouts
Also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, this scenic state park overlooks the colorful Waimea Canyon, which stretches over 14 miles and is more than 3,600 feet deep. The park itself is famous for its scenic drive, panoramic lookouts, and hikes of varying difficulty. Depending on the time you visit, the canyon’s appearance can seem to change throughout the day—it’s best to visit earlier in the morning for fewer crowds and better visibility. You might even spot a rainbow, especially during the summer months. There are many ways you can tour the canyon, including a bike tour, or even from up top on a helicopter ride. – TripadvisorSee more..

Early in the morning, I stopped at the Hanalei Valley lookout on my way to the Okolehao Trail. I was in no rush to leave the area, so I fed the hen and her chicks a banana. A rainbow appeared to compliment the view of Hanalei Valley.See more..
My friend and I did this hike and totally love the breathtaking view at the end of this hike. One can see Molokai and Maui. The hike is not hard or long as it is on a 4x4 road. I highly suggest doing this 5 mile round trip hike.See more..
4.5Palaau State Park(17 reviews) - Overlook to Kalaupappa State Park and Phallic Rock State Parks • Lookouts
This is a great place to visit if you don't plan on taking a trip down to Kalaupappa State Park...or even if you are as a preview for a trip. The highway ends at the park. There are two paths - go right for the one to the overlook, a short gentle walk to the highest sea cliffs in the world. Jaw dropping beautiful; go left for the .13 mile hike (with slight incline, exposed tree roots, and rocks) Suggest tennis/hiking shoes, although I made it in flip-flops. Beautiful forest area. Faculties available. Enjoy! See more..
