The location of this bridge is so good that one can get an overview of Ghent’s historic city centre by just standing here and looking all around. This is also the right place for a keen photographer because of the stunning view from here. Fully accessible by wheelchair, this is a must visit attraction of Ghent and not to be missed by any visitor to this beautiful town.

    Beautiful spot for a photo opportunity
    We had great views of the city from this bridge. There is a bronze statue of St. Michael in the middle of the bridge. You can see St. Michael’s Church, the Castle of the Counts, Gralei and Korenlei from here quite easily. It’s a great place to take lots of photos. Why not? They’re all digital now so the more the merrier.

    One of the best locations for picture taking
    This is a great place to grab pictures of the churches and Belfry. It's packed full during the day so I recommend you go at night. Besides, you can walk along the canal after, simply sit there and enjoy a relaxing time.
