No words can describe this experience. It is so moving, so emotional, it’s simply amazing. This performance happens every single night of the year. Get there early if you want to watch the performance, however just hearing it without seeing the people involved is magical. Highly recommended.

    Honoring fallen heroes
    A wonderful way to honor fallen heroes from WWI. The ceremony takes place every evening at 2000 (8PM) and lasts only a couple minutes. I recommend arriving early to get a good spot near the front. I arrived shortly after 730PM and there were already people gathering. Please be respectful and exercise silence throughout the ceremony. In large crowds there will inevitably be some disrespectful people, not only ruining the experience for others, but shamefully disrespecting the tribute being paid to our fellow war-fighters who died so that we may live.

    memorable once again
    we were back to remember a great uncle and to lay a wreath in his honour at the ceremony. once again struck by the amazing volunteers who remember on our behalf, every day of the year. it was made even more special by one of us being asked to give the citation. do not miss this
