    Very informative museum
I went with 4 other adults. 10 euros admission with a 1.50 discount for senior citizens Another 2 euros if you wish to go up to the belfry tower, Well worth the climb but to be expected lots of steps including some narrow twisting turns Excellent museum. Lots of exhibits and videos. There's also a cafe and shop

    Visiting Ieper.
When you are visiting the city of “Ieper”, do not forget to pop into the “Flanders Filed Museum” This museum tells us the historical story of the “First World War” in the West Flemish front region. The Museum is housed in the rebuilt Cloth Halls of Ypres, who are an important symbol of war suffering and resurrection. From this symbolic accommodation, the museum also pays great attention to the contemporary landscape as one of the last tangible witnesses. During your visit you also have the option to go and climb 231 extra steps you can look out over the city and the surrounding battlefields from the restored Belfry. Very recommandabel.
