    A bit of fun
This has been updated with the inclusion of an 8 minute virtual reality experience, offered at an additional cost to the main tour. My personal feeling is that not only is this worth undertaking but that it offers more than the old Historium tour provides. this is because the virtual reality is giving you facts in addition to the exciting experience of being immersed in the changing Bruges landscape. If money was an issue, buy the virtual reality and skip the tour. The tour can still be fun, listening on your own audio headphones. There is also a very good viewing platform on the tour that allows you to see over the Markt and take some great photos.

History of Brugge through Story Telling
The historium museum is an interesting way of learning some of the history of Brugge. You are taken on an audio Tour ( Multiple languages ) as a group through rooms where a story unfolds about the old 14th century Brugge . Mixed with scents and images it is fun for the hole family . After you can go around in some separate rooms and find out even more on your own . Don't forget to go down to the 1st floor to the Duvelorium with a balcony to the town square and try a Duvel beer or any other suggestion or coffee. The VR trip is also totaly worth getting in the price . It's so fun .
