It is located in Mae Salong area, up to the hill. It is very good to have photo here, they provide some prop for the good taking photo. But I like to taste variety of tea types in the shop than running around in the sun for taking photos.. See more..

    Pha Hi Village image
Drove past Pha Hi village on route 1149, discovering this place by accident actually since we took a wrong turn. Turns out to be one of the most scenic and beautiful drives I've done in Thailand, with the cool crisp November weather and driving along the twisting mountain top road at sunset and seeing the shadows of the mountains of Myanmar just across the border. Some where near Pha Hi village we drove right past the Myanmar border outpost. See more..

Not worth a special trip, but if you're already up a Mae Fah Luang garden, certainly worth the extra 15 minutes drive. There's a small coffee stand on site and toilets as well (not sure how clean, but they smelled a bit from outside). Take a few photos, have a cup of coffee, and be back on the road in 30 minutes. There's a donation box at the entry point, otherwise it's free to visit. See more..
  5. 4.5 Sirindhorn Chinese Language and Culture Center Mae Fah Luang University (2 reviews)
    - Beautiful
Architectural Buildings • Scenic Walking Areas
This center was designed to look like a classical Suzhou garden. It is beautiful and relaxing to sit here. It is however small and you can probably finish seeing in 15 minutes. You would think merely visiting a campus is free but no, they still had to charge us. On top of that, there's a two tier pricing where foreigners are charged 5 tines more. See more..

Doi Pha Mi or Doi Pha Mei ( ดอยผาหมี ) is the commune name. I like this place There are several cafes with beautiful views and 2 or 3 Home stays. Best time to visit this commune between 15.00 and 16.00 , the only time when the valley is well lit.I visited this place twice in different years. See more..

Dong Wiang Kaen Ancient Town image
I was told about this place by a local who discovered it himself quite by accident. It's located 500 meters due east of the crossroads in the village of Wiang Kaen. It lies on a hill, covered by ancient trees, surrounded by agriculture, orange and pomelo orchards. You can ride in by motorbike and then hike around a bit. There are a few structures and a budda, which appears to be regularly visited by monks. From what I heard, the stupas were desecrated by grave robbers, a pity. Anyway, there is an odd presence in the forest. Hike in and enjoy. There are no facilities of any kind, but the nearby village is loaded with shops and restaurants. Try something a bit different here, definitely not your standard tourist experience. See more..
