  1. 4.0 Singha Park (1.097 reviews)
    - Fantastic find and stunning park.
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Parks
    Singha Park image
This park was clearly well maintained and had a lot of work gone into it. They had set up a shaded area by the sports section you could enjoy the view and the warm breeze while looking out across the valley. In the evening it turned into a more british summer esq night food market with live band and good food being served. Best thing of all being able to take off your shoes and feel the grass under you feet while looking up at the stars. It was so enjoyable we came back the next night to do it again. See more..

Phu Chi Fa Forest Park image
Worth a trip. It’s breathtaking . Im lucky enough to see the sunrise on early January .you’ll see the sea of fogs, some Hmong kids dancing en route when we climb up the peak, everything is epic. It’s windy and cool up there. I offer some tips for people who’re staying in Chiang rai and don’t mind to spend a lil and wanting an easy trip (save time )to phu chi fa, you can actually get some agency along the city in Chiang rai offering a trip from your hotel to the hiking point, around 3000 baht ,then you’ll just take a 20-30 minutes hike up to phu chi fa. Fantastic place for leisure, for walking, exercising, beautiful views to the tea plantations, fresh and clea air, plenty of space to move around. Still the park is quite big but we usually go for nice photos, relaxation and having lunch or dinner. Have 3 restaurants and a burguer food truck. has some attractions for kids and defintely a place to go back and again. See more..
  5. 5.0 Doi Luang National Park (5 reviews)
    - Huge Park
    National Parks
    Doi Luang National Park image
This is a huge park with multiple access points. The easiest entry is about 1 hour drive south from Chiang Rai. Admission was 100b to 30b for the car. The only attraction at this entry point is Pu Kaeng waterfall. As far as waterfalls go it was nothing special, but it was a very pleasant and uncrowded place. There is a nature trail which follows the river to each of 6 or 7 drops before turning away and looping through the forest. The portion away from the river is not as well maintained as the rest, so if youre walking the loop (about 1 hour plus time to splash in the pools) watch for the trail carefully, as it may fade out on you. Bathrooms were clean and I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the whole area. Did not see any litter at all. There is a restaurant on site, but unfortunately at the time I was there they were only selling water and snacks. See more..
