Beautiful temple south of Chiang Rai city. Beautifully decorated and surrounded by lots of visual art. Worth paying a ticket to go in to see the cool modern paintings which you rarely see in a Buddhist temple. Must visit. See more..

Nicely located on the Mekong Chieng Saen, you can see Chinese boats tied up, visit a range of interesting old walls/stupas/wats similar to Chieng Mai but without the crowds, wander down the wide streets and just "chill out". The famous Golden Triangle is a short car trip up the road where you can view China, Laos and Myanmar at the river junction . See more..

This center was designed to look like a classical Suzhou garden. It is beautiful and relaxing to sit here. It is however small and you can probably finish seeing in 15 minutes. You would think merely visiting a campus is free but no, they still had to charge us. On top of that, there's a two tier pricing where foreigners are charged 5 tines more. See more..
