   We recently were fortunate enough to attend a dear friend's wedding at the farm. The grounds are breathtaking and very serene. The sprawling hills, the trees, and the rustic barn, created the perfect setting for a very subtle, rustic ceremony and reception. The farm was equipped with the necessary amenities (a ladies' room and men's room) and plenty of ample parking space. See more..

   Extremely small space that will take about 45 minutes to view if you take your time. Do not bring kids here as they will be bored out of their mind and you won't enjoy it. Short walk from the Winchester train station. On the weekends you can park right out front of the museum with no problems. There's plenty of place to eat in the downtown area that you can walk to a great little bookstore and coffee shops to spend some time in also.    I have lived in Winchester for over 50 years and long ago when my children were small we often went skating on Winter Pond. It is shallow enough that it freezes early in the winter and is usually busy with skaters. See more..

   The theater is very ambitious-- produces musicals with live orchestra--and always well done. Free paring on site is another plus. Keep a lookout for their art in bloom show as well. See more..

   Spent < 1 hour Parks
   Originally a beautifully landscaped park designed by the school of Frederick Law Olmsted, the Town of Winchester left this park to deteriorate. It is still possible to walk in a loop from Washington St. to Cross St and back, but the route is not nearly as beautiful as it was yeas ago. It's time for the Town to step up and do something to bring this beauty back. See more..
