The whole park was nicely kept, with the tasteful and extremely respectful war memorials at one end and large chess / checker boards on the other side with the magnificent glass restrooms. Be sure to walk around and read the plaques and benches and look at the sculptures. Everything is purposeful to remind us of the men and women who serve in the military. See more..

I disagree with Heather L about the cabins at the South Sulphur Unit. We stayed in a cabin last October 23, 2019 (I had to choose October 2020). This is not a Holiday Inn Express. It is a cabin at a well kept state park. Do your homework prior to camping. We knew we had to bring our towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows. Friends also stayed in a cabin and both of us had a great experience. The cabins were clean and the area was quite. If you don't like a spider or bugs, maybe you are not meant to be a camper.
