    Beautiful park
Coleman park is great, it is up kept well, with the fields always freshly mowed and trash picked often. There are numerous Geocaching stashes in the park, if you enjoy geocaching like my family does.

Large City Park Centered Around Lake Coleman
Coleman Park is located on the west side of Sulphur Springs, on the south side of historic Business Route US 67. US 67 was the main highway between Saint Louis and Dallas, beginning in the 1920's. Interstate 30 has replaced US 67 as the main route to Dallas, starting in the 1960's. Coleman Park is easy to get to from I-30 by going north on Highway 19, and turning east on US 67 towards downtown Sulphur Springs. There's a long, paved hiking and biking trail around the lake. The dam area for the lake is just to the south of US 67 and the trail runs on top of it. There are baseball field in the south side of the park. There's a small parking lot on US 67, on the west side of the dam. The lake and park cover quite a few acres. There is also a parking lot near the baseball fields. Coleman Park is a resource for the people of Sulphur Springs, as well as for travelers on I-30 who can take a break from driving by stretching their legs on the hiking trail.
