5.0Old Burial Hill(115 reviews) - Historic graveyard with a lovely view Historic Sites • Cemeteries
One of New England's most scenic graveyards, it affords a view of Old Marblehead, the harbor, and the sea. It was established in 1638 at the site of Marblehead’s first meeting house and is the burial site of some 600 Revolutionary soldiers, most in unmarked graves.See more..
Best camp ever! My son (12) and daughter (9) had an amazing time and caught a ton of fish. My daughter caught a 47 inch striper; my son caught a 39 inch striper! Fish of a lifetime! They went out with a different captain every day, out of Manchester, and learned so much. We can't wait to go out with Randy again!See more..

5.0Mapping Marblehead(3 reviews) - Terrific Exhibit in Marblehead's Old Town House - the history of the Town in the 1800's. Monday: History Museums
The exhibit includes interpretive panels, artifacts, and interactive maps illustrating Marblehead’s growth and expansion. From the War of 1812, through Grand Banks fishing, Abolitionism and the Underground Railroad, the Civil War, shoemaking, trains, yachting, and tourism, Marblehead struggled to survive and prosper. It’s an inspiring story. Not to be missed is the chance to step into a life-size representation of a nineteenth century view of Marblehead Harbor from Crocker Park, for a delightful photo opportunity.See more..
This was the second time my wife and I drove from Amherst to see a concert at this venue. We were not disappointed. The Me and Thee Coffeehouse gets top artists known all over the country and presents them in an intimate setting. Get there early as the seating is general admission. No matter what though, there really is not a bad seat in the house. Being a church sanctuary, the acoustics are very good. We are already looking at two different concerts in the spring to make the drive again. It is worth it.See more..
I have been going to The Yoga Loft for a few years, and I can honestly say that an hour spent in yoga class is definitely the highlight of my morning, and frequently my whole day! The Yoga Loft offers a variety of classes and workshops to suit diverse interests and skill levels. I've been consistently impressed with the teachers, who are always knowledgeable as well as creative, providing challenge without pushing or pressure, cognizant of individuals' specific needs or injuries. I've been impressed with the staff as well, always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lastly, I'm impressed with the studio space -- a very pleasant, restful, inviting atmosphere to hold classes. The Yoga Loft offers a convenient punch card program where you can purchase 10 classes for a slightly discounted price. They'll keep your card at the studio, making it super convenient! They also offer discounts for seniors and teens. Their small retail shop is another nice convenience, they sell apparel as well as yoga accessories. The Yoga Loft does a really great job keeping their website updated. You can find them at theyogaloftmarblehead.com. It's complete and informative as well as easy to use. I would recommend checking the website periodically for the latest offerings, schedules, and pricing. A couple of things to be aware of -- classes are popular and the studio often fills up quickly, so it is best to arrive a little early if possible. Also, parking can be a little tricky since the 2 parking lots nearby are not available for Yoga Loft customers, so you'll need to find street parking -- another reason to come early if you can!! I highly recommend The Yoga Loft -- whether you have been practicing yoga for years or just getting started, you are likely to find a class and a teacher to meet your needs. See more..
5.0Gerry Island(1 review) - A mini-Mont St. Michel for Americans Islands
This lovely island, named after one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and known for many other achievements (as well as one not well publicized, i.e. the creator of "gerrymandering,") is just off the coast of Marblehead near Little Harbor. From one hour before to one hour after "dead low tide," it is easy to walk out on a land bridge to the island. The island itself is lovely, filled with greenery, left natural, with some nice benches to sit on and contemplate the island and its surroundings, good views of Crowninshield Island and Fort Sewall.See more..
