Amazing time!

My colleagues and I conquered the kayaks last week. We had an amazing time and Mary Ellen was super helpful. We're already planning our return trip!

    Feelin' Good
After a few minutes of reminders about kayaking (it had been over a year since the last kayak adventure) we spent a beautiful hour on the bay; the wind was calm the water had just the right amount of wake and we were as happy as can be. The staff at The Little Harbor Boathouse was friendly and helpful; they even recommended a great place to have lunch after we went ashore and took care of our kayak gear. We would definitely go back if we ever venture back to Marblehead. Which I hope we do!

    Best Kept Secret!!!!
This is one of the best kept secrets on the North Shore. Rentals, summer camp and storage! Hoorah! The launch point is off Gashouse Beach, a spot well known to local Marbleheaders, and one of the most picturesque areas on the water. It is one of the best launching spots hands down for non-motorized boating with quality, well-maintained equipment! My child has participated in the summer camp this year -- which is impeccably run. He is thoroughly enjoying the paddlesports and games and always ends his days with a huge grin on his face! Be prepared to be greeted by knowledgable and customer-oriented staff! (You won't have to look around for someone to help you or greet you!) Maryellen - the owner - is such an asset to the community. This is a professional operation, and highly recommended, versus what you might find 'thrown' up along a sandy beach-head. Long live Little Harbor Boathouse!
