We were taking a scenic drive in the Texas Hill Country on TX16 and this city park made a great rest stop along the way. We enjoyed a stroll on the paved trail on the bank of the Guadalupe River to stretch our legs. It's a wide, level path about 4 miles long with shade from large trees. We saw squirrels scampering about and several types of waterfowl. The park facilities look new and are in good condition, including parking, picnic tables and pavilion, restrooms, playground, benches, volleyball courts, and a plaza with "dancing" water fountain.
