Johnson City has been thin on neat shops to browse and shop, but we have found a new shop right on Main Street that is fantastic! It looks like a normal size store from the front but....go inside and be amazed! We were! It's full of every kind of stuff we look for...Antiques, handmades, Jewelry, glass, painted furniture, art, military, rusty treasures, I could go on, but get the picture... It's our new favorite place! Oh, and it smells Wonderful!!!! See more..

    - A Birthday Celebration
    Monday: Wineries & Vineyards
Westcave Cellars Winery & Brewery image
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of taking a friend and close family member to a wine tasting at Westcave Cellars. It was my first experience at their new location. It was a perfect day. As always all of the wine is masterfully crafted by Allan and Margaret. The tasting room had 360 degree views due to all the “clear as glass” windows. In addition to tasting unique, award winning wines and snacks, we met Whitney our server. Whitney was totally enjoyable. She described the wines perfectly and coached us on “what to look for” in each sip. She nailed the nuances of tastes each variety of wine afforded us. It was a great experience. We learned a lot. We were there for quite a while. It was a memorable time of celebration, fun and outstanding wine, food and service. Thank you “Westcave Cellars” & our new friend Whitney. We are eager to come again with our husbands. (And we are eager to try the beer as well!!!!) Murphy T. See more..
