Great stop on a wine tour

This beautiful art gallery opened on the Courthouse Square in Johnson City in 2005, featuring a stunning collection of contemporary fine art by over 30 established Texas artists. The largest wine selection in the county offers wines by the taste, glass, bottle or case. Besides the main gallery there is a lovely tree lined, 1/3 acre creek-side sculpture garden. One of a kind artist made jewelry is also a specialty. Receptions are held from 1-4 every Second-Sunday (with live music), and every last-Saturday from 4-7.

    Wonderful gallery
This is an established mixed-media gallery, with both fine art and lovely jewelry. Shows both 2D and 3D works, often thematically related to the Texas Hill Country. The space is eclectic and interesting. Check it out--you'll see what I mean! The owner is also an artist, whose own beautiful work can be seen at the gallery. Carries many award-winning regional artists. Highly recommended, well worth a visit! (And go to an opening if you are able, when you can also sample some tasty snacks and drink some good, local wines.)

    Art and wine and fun
Stopped by when we saw the "wine tastings" sign out front and wandered in to this sweet little place. Looked over the cool jewelry, and we were on to the tasting. The owner surprised us by having a very nice selection of wines from around the world, starting with a nice Shiraz from South Africa. I liked that he asked us our preferences in wine for the pours, instead of a stock list that he followed. We left with several bottles of wine and the intention to return again soon.
