Don't Miss This Museum in Johnson City
I cannot believe that a town as tiny as Johnson City has an educational museum this fine. All of the exhibits were big city quality, everything was clean and modern, and all of the exhibits offered really neat educational benefits. The "Tornado Alley" film in the theater was very informative, and the hands-on exhibits were fun for kids of all ages. Our kids enjoyed building their own race car, learning about axolotls, and seeing how wind power could be modified to power a sailboat.

Great afternoon with family - lots of hands on activities
Even better than expected. We stayed an hour longer than planned and all of us enjoyed it from 10 yrs old to 60. The Covid precautions were done well with limited visitors and gloves to use the hands on exhibits. It is not overwhelming like some 4 story places so it gave us time to linger at each display and learn from them.
