It's almost like the ocean on a hot day with the cool spray and splash and waves lapping against the shore. There is even a slight salty scent in the air. The powerful water is mesmorizing. We'd never been before and visited both sides of the river. The Oklahoma side has a platform by the spillway where you can feel the cool spray and see and hear the forceful water up close. See more..

Compact well laid out museum. History starts at Revolutionary War and progresses through our nations history to the present; with of course emphasis on aviation and Perrin AFB. So much is packed in and so well explained by the friendly docents who readily answered our questions. Everything is under one roof so the tour was easy and comfortable. Aviation buffs will want to spend extra time but children might not. One static aircraft display. Also while leaving I spotted a WWII Marine F4U Corsair taxiing on the runway. Very cool. See more..
