The museum houses many Tennessee Central Railway artifacts, as well as an HO scale replica of what Cookeville's west side looked like in the summer of 1955. On the other side of the diorama is a replica of a coal tipple with a model train loading up with coal. The grounds surrounding the museum are considered a park area where the museum has a static display consisting of a 1913 Baldwin steam engine, a 1920's classic red caboose, a 1960's caboose, and two small track cars. This area also offers picnic tables and a number of benches for visitors. Please feel free to bring a sack lunch and stay a while! See more..

If you love browsing, check this place out. It has a bit of everything. There are collectables, antiques and some just plain junk. The fun is browsing and seeing if there is anything that catches the eye. Things inside are crowded and as I always say, places like this are bigger on the inside than they are on the outside. Cookeville Bullseye image
4 couples spent an hour Saturday night in this fun place on Cookeville’s East side. $12.00 per person per hour is cheap fun and you get to play with a semi-sharp instrument. Lots of good clean fun. Might have been better with beer, but then again maybe not. Was kinda crude setup in some ways but still functioned as it should. As safe as it can be with axes flying thru the air. See more..
