I needed to distract myself while Hannah was at VCA Weymouth having tests done. I stumbled upon the park and thought it a perfect place to spend some time. I did not explore to much but did spend some time on The Ranger Trail. The trail is short but winds through a small forest. It is wide and level but in some spots there are roots and rocks protruding. In addition to the walking trails there is a great bike path as well as picnic tables and a camp ground. This is a beautiful conservation, recreation and get a way space in the middle of an urban setting. Easy to reach from Braintree, Weymouth or any other of the neighboring towns. It is free to enter. On vacation in Massachusetts for a week, I spent one whole day at South Shore Plaza while my friend stayed home awaiting a delivery. While shopping in the upstairs level, I came to Modest Girlz, a shop that caters women who dress conservatively and/or modestly by choice or religious faith. I thought it was great idea to have a shop that sold fashionable styles in various colors rather than just plain black. Everything was of excellent quality fabric and well made. The shop owner was very friendly. I rate Modest Girlz at 5.0 and recommend stopping by even if it’s just to look and see what’s possible for modest dress. It's easy to get to this mall - get the red line to Braintree and then get the local bus or a cab (about 10 dollars) The mall is set over 2 floors. Larger stores include Macys, Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom and Sears and the usual J Jill, Hollister, Victoria's Secret etc. Plenty of places to eat - a foodcourt and also others around the mall including Au Bon Pain, Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory and Joe's Diner. For a municipal golf course, Braintree is in great shape and at par with some of the private courses on the South Shore of Boston. It was an English company. Browsing the clothes, I looked at sweaters. They were of good quality. I also saw athletic shoes. Some were the house brand. Those were also of good quality. On vacation in Massachusetts for a week, I spent a whole day at South Shore Plaza while my friend stayed home for a domestic matter. Shopping some stores on the lower leveI, I came to Bath & Body Works, one of my favorite stores for personal care lotions. I sampled the Japanese Cherry Blossom Hand Cream. i was interested in the small 1 oz. travel side was $6.50. I liked its fresh, bright floral scent that was a blend of cherry blossom, white jasmine, and violet-like mimosa with undernotes of sandalwood and pear. I also sampled the Sweet Pea 24 Hour Moisture Super Smooth Body Lotion with Shea Butter & Vitamin E at $13.50. Its description said it was a cheery bouquet of sweet pea, watery pear, sheer freesia, luscious raspberry and soft musk. It was light, soft fragrance with a balanced blend of floral and fruity notes. I was trying it again to see if the shea butter would leave an oily residue on the skin. It didn’t the first time; and, it didn’t again. I decided to keep on my Gift Wish List. While there, I also looked at the White Barn 3-wick soy candles. The fall scents were in. First, I tried that Pumpkin Vanilla Crème. That had a nice blend of pumpkin, vanilla, and nutmeg. Next, I tried the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin which had clove and vanilla mixed in with the cinnamon and pumpkin. I liked that one even better. I put that on my short list for the October-November home fragrance candle. I rate my experience at this Bath & Body Works at 4.50 and can recommend a visit. On vacation in Massachusetts for a week, I spent a whole day at South Shore Plaza while my friend stayed home waiting for a delivery. Shopping some stores on the lower leveI, I came to FYE. I shopped mostly music CD’s and DVD’s. I also browsed Vinyl and other areas. There was a sale on all T-shirts. The deal was Buy One, Get One 50% Off. I saw a variety of headphones and ear buds. The store had a whole wall display of Funko characters and a shelving display of Ty plush characters as well a board games, such as Monopoly, Operation, and the Harry Potter version of Clue. While shopping in the upstairs level, I came to Things Remembered, one of my favorite stores to shop for gifts. I stopped in to see what this location had. At the time of my visit, there was a 75% Off Sale in progress. I also saw some Disney items for the theme park fans. There was a Cinderella coach and Mickey in a globe. I admired two sets of wedding gift champagne glasses. There was a sizable display of water bottles. I also saw a lot of jewelry that included bracelets, necklaces, and rings. Some things were sterling silver. Other items had gemstones. I also browsed watches, clocks, office desk sets, keepsake boxes, and jewelry boxes. I admired the gift bags that had ruffled gift tissue attached to the top of the bag. It was decorative, and it effectively concealed the bag's contents. I’d seen them for the first time in another Things Remembered and thought the ruffled tissue was a good idea. I find that Things Remembered is nice store to shop whether I need to buy a gift or not. On vacation in Massachusetts for a week, I spent one whole day at South Shore Plaza while my friend stayed home on a domestic matter. While shopping on the upper level, I came upon The Body Shop. I stopped in to see what was new or on sale. A line of products I hadn’t noticed before was skin care items made with hemp. What will it be used in next? The new line of lemon-based items looked interesting. I thought I might like to try the Lemon Purifying Face Wash at $15.00; however, in looking at the list of ingredients, I had second thoughts due to the presence of laureth sulfate, a potential irritant, and other chemicals. I particularly like the vegan products The Body Shop sells. During this visit, I tried the Almond Hand & Nail Cream. Although not vegan, it was vegetarian. It contained organic almond milk. I also tried the Spa of the World Japanese Camellia Cream Velvet Moisture Body Cream again. I already had that on my wish list. It was $36.00. It was a vegan item. I enjoyed shopping at The Body Shop. This English skin care, cosmetics, and perfume company sells very nice products at moderate prices, avoids animal testing, and is environmentally responsible. We have been going here for the past four months, Don't know what is going on with the pricing?? Usually go here on Sundays prices varied from-$ 25.00, $18.50, to $19.50 -per couple don't know why we see movies usually between 12:00pm-2:00pm?? Great wide reclining seating awesome! Food prices standard about $5.00 for most stuff. Con:-Wish the place was bigger with more theatres, at this time there is only-(10) theatres, and could use more parking like Randolph! These theatres have been all done over and they did a great job, place used to be a dump till this re-vamp! Our go to place too see movies for now, my friend just lives right up the street easy to get too! Bin Ends has a wide variety of wines you are not likely to find anywhere- they also have a store in Needham. They have wines from all over the globe for really good prices- of course you can also find rare expensive wines as well. The staff are personable and helpful and kind. You can call and place your order and they will bring it to the car- or you can come in- spacious clean and everyone is so nice. I would rather go all the way across town than go to my local packy or a warehouse- where I will pay more for some mediocre wine. This place is a gem- with craft beer and specialty drinks. I recently tried this spa after a friends recommendation and now I'm addicted. I like the gel manicures and have found them to peel by the 2 week mark in the past. My mani's from ispa have lasted 2-3 weeks with no peeling at all. I have received so many compliments from my coworkers about my nails recently. They have several brands to choose from. I've found perfect match to be my new favorite. The spa is very organized, clean and professional. They keep the gel colors right next to the matching regular polish so you don't have to search for a match. Now let me tell you about the massages that are standard at Ispa. OMG I can't believe how wonderful the neck and shoulder massage is. You will also enjoy a prolonged leg and foot massage with the pedicure. There is also a complimentary beverage menu. Seriously. The whole experience is well worth the $50. I have found a way to work this little treat into my budget every 3 weeks. See more..

This was one of the chain’s average-sized mall stores. I stopped in to see what, if anything, was new. New fall merchandise was coming in. Some of the fall candles had names like Winding Mountain Trail, Apple Picking, Pumpkin Patch Treats, Rainy Day, and Cozy Fall Picnic. In the Halloween merchandise, there were skulls, bony hands, large and small pumpkins, owls, black candles, and more. There was even a Creepy Carnival line. I inquired about soy candles. Yankee Candle’s WoodWick brand was made with soy. It turned out that the brand was made with a mix of soy and paraffin. For air quality reasons, I wanted a pure soy or beeswax candle, so the paraffin was an undesirable ingredient. There was nothing exceptional about this Yankee Candle. The store carried leggings, jeggings, yoga pants, matching tops, and more. At the time of my visit, there was a sale in progress. Everything in stock was priced at $8.99. There was also a 3/$25.00 deal. Since I’d seen similar equal-quality leggings in another specialty shop in Kittery priced regularly at $8.99, I was not greatly impressed much with what I saw at Leggings Home as the regular prices were more like $14.99. This Lids was one of the chain’s smaller shops. Inside, I shopped fan gear. This Lids shop had sports caps. The chain carries items for MLB, MLS, NASCAR and individual driver teams, the NFL, the NBA, the NHL, the PGA, LPGA, and college teams in shirts, jerseys, sports caps, jackets, sweatshirts, etc. You name it, and Lids can supply it. It’s a good place for fans to buy caps and clothing to show support for their favorite team or sport.
