My family has been using Abby's for many years now, especially for travel to/from Boston Logan. Owner Habib has always been very friendly and accommodating, even when we've made requests that other drivers or services would be unwilling to take on, or would charge an extra fee to fulfill. If Habib or one of his other drivers is unavailable, he lets us know ahead of time, and he sends us another driver & car from his personal shortlist of professional drivers that he knows and trusts — with the cost already pre-arranged. Unlike so many of the drivers for Uber and Lyft, Habib knows his way around the Boston area well. When faced with unexpected traffic jams or accidents, his routing strategies have saved us more than once from missing flights. On occasion, I've had Abby's take me to appointments far from home, and these longer trips have always been enjoyable as well as affordable. In fact, for what it would cost to take three people to NYC from Boston (or vice versa), it's actually cheaper, quicker, more comfortable, and far more convenient to travel door-to-door via Abby's SUV instead of by plane+taxi, and you can have a private business conversation on the way. We have been going here for years , when my children were young they loved this Movie theater. When I was first married we lived close enough to walk , and we often went once a week . It’s inexpensive and has good popcorn and I can also get coffee. Seats are roomy good legroom. In the past they had 2 movie theaters, now I think They have 5 or 6 and show first run movies. This small, local theatre group that says it dates back to 1923 is a gem. My wife and I often attend shows there and most recently attended their current production of "A Chorus Line". We have seen this show elsewhere a few times. This production was better and more finished and professional than any of the others we have seen. The girls got to pick out their pieces and selected their choice of paint colors. It costs $6 for paint and brushes and whatever the cost of the piece that you picked added for a total price. 紅葉を見に、友人たちと訪れました。専ら黄色の葉が多かったようにも思います。ざっと1時間あればおもな見どころは回れます。犬のお散歩できている人達とも何度かすれ違いました。

駐車場ですが、アーリントン側とウインチェスター側にあります。私たちは、アーリントン側に停めました。Whipple Hill Farmの横に5，6台無料で止められるところがあります。そこからあふれた場合は、200メートルくらい東にMcClennen Parkの大きな無料駐車場が使えます。

Whipple Hill Farmではアルパカが何頭かいます。それを右手に見つつ登っていくわけですが、標識がちょっと私達にはわかりにくく、一番高い地点に行くのに迷ったりしました。GPSは林の中では使えず、alltrails　のアップを持っている人が先頭に立ってくれて、たどり着けました。結構な高度があり、頂上の岩場からは、遠くに眼下の町が見えます。ただ、落葉しきった冬のほうが、眺めはいいかもしれません。途中に池など回って歩くコースもあり、全部で1時間、7000歩強のハイキングでした。もっと近所に住んでいれば、毎朝お手軽に楽しく散歩できるコースにできそうなトレールです。 See more..

Never heard of Samuel Whittemore? Don't feel bad. Many people who grew up in the area haven't heard of him either. Nevertheless, he is the oldest known combatant in the American Revolutionary War, contributing his service at the ripe age of 78! That seems kind of cool in and of itself, but the story gets better. I won't waste your time with a lot of needless details, because you can find it all on his Wikipedia page, but suffice to say, this elderly farmer literally dropped what he was doing in his field as the British were retreating from the battles of Concord and Lexington, and prepared to ambush them. He killed one with his musket, then, as they approached, he killed TWO MORE with his pistols, before being beaten, bayoneted several times, and shot in the face. Not only did Whittemore not die of his wounds, but when he was found by some neighbors, bleeding profusely, he was in the process of reloading his musket to resume fighting. The British couldn't kill Sam Whittemore. He recovered from his wounds, and lived another 18 years, finally dying at the even riper age of 96. 96!!!! The Whittemore Memorial isn't much. It's just a small stone in a park named for the man, in Arlington Center, at the corner of Mass Ave and Mystic St. If you're going to visit the battle sites in Concord and Lexington, definitely stop by here on your way back to Cambridge. If you're an American, and/or interested in Revolutionary War history, you owe that much to Mr Whittemore. See more..

Great place to rent bikes to ride on the Minuteman bikeway trail going to Lexington Ma. My wife & I rented Scott brand bike for the 16 mile round trip ride to Lexington & Bedford. Personal at the shop were very helpful with fitting us with the proper bike and the seat adjustments need to fit us. Bike were $35 each for 24 hours and the bike trail was one block behind the shop.
