Wedding ceremony
This beautiful house provided an excellent wedding venue for my son and his bride. They have 2 large rooms for the bride and her party and the groom and his party to get ready. The room where the ceremony was held was beautiful, a little rustic and cozy. The photos are beautiful. During nice weather, the grounds and gardens provide a lush backdrop for photos. The front porch of this house is beautifully historic and makes this venue a strong option for weddings.

Wonderful, beautifully preserved historic house
We had an excellent tour with a very pleasant and informative tour guide. This is a small museum and historic house but very well worth a visit. This lovely 18th c. house has been beautifully preserved with all the original details - moldings, floors, windows, doors, etc. - intact, complete with historic bullet holes. Some very interesting American history took place here, so it's great place to bring children. The house is furnished with good period furniture and decorative accessories that help bring history to life.
