    I received a birthday surprise from my husband - a rock climbing lesson!! This was something I’ve always wanted to try but never did. And so it was that with not a small amount of intrepidation, that I found myself at the base of a climbing wall staring at the 17m vertical climb. Our wonderful tutor did a fantastic job of putting me completely at ease. Within 10 minutes I had conquered my fear of the climb - and of letting go - and was up the wall! One of the more basic walls - but at the top all the same. There are walls for all skill levels and expert guidance if you need it. Apart from rock climbing you can go mountain biking, practice some archery, and numerous other adventures!     Westerpark was created to give the residents of Zoetermeer something. If you want to take a walk, you can spend up to two hours walg the outer paths. There is a resturant with a kiddies play area to die for. Plent of parking at several places in and around the park. There is a golf course.. There are sports facilities for football, hockey, and probaly many more. There is even an archary club. Possibly my favorite are is the nature garden. Here you see nature come and go with the seasons. (at least from march to november, it's closed in the winter). You can take your dog for a walk. There are a few areas especially set up for dogs.
