Wer die Insel auf eine individuelle und persönliche Art kennen lernen möchte, sollte die Tuktuk Tour unbedingt machen. Kees erzählt einfach alles auf eine liebenswerte und sympathische Art und Weise. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Auch das Cranberry pflücken und hinterher Marmelade kochen war super.

Driedaagse cursus gevolgd bij CRAB. Annabelle legde op een rustige en duidelijke manier stapsgewijs uit hoe ik de kite in de lucht kon krijgen en daarna kon houden. Tijdens de les duidelijke en korte instructies gekregen die ik snel eigen kon maken en steeds meer controle kreeg over kite.

Voor mij was dit een super fijne, ontspannen en vooral veilige manier kennis maken met het kite surfen.

Daarbij ben ik een klein beetje verliefd geworden op het mooie rustige Vlieland. En zeker van plan om dit jaar terug te komen en verder les te nemen bij CRAB! See more..

Voor al je boodschappen met een zeer royaal assortiment.
Na de verbouwing heb ik even moeten zoeken naar waar alles stond. Sommige dingen zijn niet helemaal logisch, maar uiteindelijk alles gevonden wat ik nodig had.
Fijn dat er ook gekoelde wijn is zodat je gelijk van je vakantie kunt gaan genieten.

It was about a 30 minute drive to the Vliehors, during which you had lots of time to relax and enjoy the view of the sea and the dunes. When we reached the Vliehors we were pretty amazed by the sheer size of it! you could also see Texel. What was also cool was that there was poetry imprinted on the tyres of the bus which meant that when we stopped, we could read what was written in the tracks! We also visited 'het drenkelingenhuisje' and saw all the bizarre things that had been found on the beach in the past few years (dummies, coffee etc.) We picked up an accordion player for on the way back and he played songs the entire journey. We have taken the ‘Beach-bus’ (Vliehors express) to the Drenkelingenhuisje (shipwreck house). Which is a great experience. It is a desolate and empty space at the island of Vlieland. Going by bus is already great, though then you inevitably are there with a bunch of other people. Therefore I can imagine it is even greater when you go there on your own, walking to this place at almost the West-end of the island. Obviously this is quite a stroll of about 6 kilometre - one way, measured from the most westward end of the paved cycling paths. See more..

We: Have been here at least one time on every trip for 6 years now. It's a very well done miniature Natural History museum packed full of information ranging from sand to seals, the impact of man on the island, both good and bad, and there's a comfortable movie room upstairs for when weary feet need a break. It's a great place to spend a couple hours if you're dodging a rainstorm, or just curious.
