   У нас во Влоутене было почти 1,5 часа ожидания автобуса, поэтому мы решили посмотреть достопримечательности. Первое, что мы увидели недалеко от остановки, большая церковь из красного кирпича. Мы вошли внутрь и попали на крещение ребенка. Задерживаться не стали, поскольку это семейный праздник, но поразила атмосфера, когда приглашенные просто стоят общаются, наливают себе чай. Внутри никаких изысков нет, все очень просто, но душевно. Снаружи интересная башенка с часами. Нам очень понравилась площадь, на которой стоит церковь. Стоит посещения обязательно. See more..

   Have recently discovered this fantastic, new park (as more people in the area of Utrecht are doing), designed by the world-renowned landscape and garden designer Piet Oudolf (b. 1944), designer of the popular "Highline" park in Manhattan. Visit first the big Castellum, modelled on a historic, ancient Roman fort at this site, then walk, skate, bike, or run the 10 kilometer, broad "Lint," bringing you completely around the park. Or even better: take the old Alendorperweg beginning near the Castellum, then do a little jog, and take the Enghlaan, to savor the old Dutch landscape of green farms and luxurious villas, with their sumptuous gardens, and see Oudolf''s brilliant additions, like a "butterfly park." In 10 years will this be the world-renowned Central Park of Utrecht? Could very well be! See more..

   De Parochie Licht van Christus is een rooms-katholieke parochie in de Nederlandse gemeente Utrecht. Op 1 januari 2004 is deze ontstaan door samenvoeging van de rooms-katholieke parochies Onze Lieve Vrouw ten Hemelopneming te De Meern en Sint-Willibrordus te Vleuten. Tot de Vleutense parochie behoorde ook Haarzuilens. Verder behoorde het merendeel van het grondgebied van de huidige wijk Leidsche Rijn in de stad Utrecht, destijds agrarisch gebied, tot een van de beide zojuist genoemde parochies. See more..
