- 4.5 Spakenburg Saturday Market (55 reviews)
-Lovely Local Market
Flea & Street Markets
We had a lovely Saturday morning here, nice market with fruits, cheeses & meats/fish amoungst other things. We were staying at Centre Parcs de Eemhof, if you go to the marina area on the park and look over the water that is Sprakenburg. We drove round which was about 25mins, just trust the sat nav! Nice restaurants and lovely port/marina area. We parked at the port area and walked round. See more..

We had planned this prior to heading along to the market in Sprakenburg on a Saturday morning. Really friendly people working there. You have steep steps to come up and down but it's worth it!! You,could buy the different flours that are ground here. We parked just opposite. The brasserie/ coffee shop attached in the old stables was a perfect spot for our morning coffee. We really enjoyed the visit. See more..

Nice little museum which gives a good impression of life in early 20-ties. The dolls and rooms make it very realistic. See more..
- 4.5 VVV Bunschoten-Spakenburg (14 reviews)
-Beautiful traditional town with the most welcoming people
Visitor Centers
I have been going to Bunschoten-Spakenburg about 6 times since October to work on a boat based in the marina, it is the most beautiful setting of a working small town. Fantastic market on Saturdays with enough choice of fish to cook everyday of the week, it has history, shops, places to eat and drink and everyone I have met have been really friendly... what more do you need? The waterway in the town is lined with traditional Dutch barges with a workshop carving the massive timbers to refurbish them. So if it’s classic or modern boats in the Jachthaven Nieuwboer (marina and ‘glamping’ Cabins) just 10mins walk along Westdijk it all worth a visit even if you don’t have a boat! See more..

- 3.0 Rederij Zuidwal - Spakenburg Cruise (9 reviews)
-A bit disappointing
Boat Tours
The boat operates as a ferry between holiday park Eemhof and the historic city of Spakenburg and is a good way to get from the holiday park into Spakenburg for a daytrip. It is not very interesting the other way round, unless you want to go for a hike or bike ride into nature on a sunny day or a swim in Aqua Mundo. The boat itself is nothing like the old botters in the harbour, but just a commercial boat. A bit expensive and uninteresting if you just want to take a boat tour. Tip: Take the tour from Stichting Waterlijn in the nearby city of Amersfoort instead: much more interesting and cosy! See more..
- 3.0 Tankversperring Spakenburg (1 review)
-Onderdeel van de Grebbelinie
Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Historic Sites • Ancient Ruins • Architectural Buildings
See more..
