We started by boat at the picturesque town of Giethoorn. There are several boatroutes. Beautiful and tranquil once you are out in the open and leaving Giethoorn because this place can be too crowded. We stopped near the observation tower and then we took a walk in the water area. There are so many Black Tern on their floating nest on the water. It was very well managed for the birds as they all have places for nesting. The high reed was so beautiful under the sunlight. See more..
