The church ruin in Oude Nieuwdorp is a result of a fire that raged in 1977. The historic church walls you can 'admire' date from 1648 coincidently the year the war against Spain ended. Though ruins often have something sad, this one is kind of intimate as it is just a small space with only the walls standing and beautiful vegetation all around.
