The Romanesque church of Midwolde was built in 12th century and today most windows are Gothic. The interior is quite different than normally church. At the back side, there is a beautiful mausoleum and on both side of the mausoleum is a high-placed men's bench from 1660, which is slightly higher than the opposite pulpit.
