   One of only a handful of traditional clog makers left in Holland and it happened to be close to our holiday campsite on the Oosterschelde so all 40 of us here on a group holiday from the UK paid Klompenmakerij Traas a visit so see how it was done. For ease of movement around the factory owner J Kramer took us around in two groups. With each group he demonstrated starting from a complete tree through to polishing a completed clog and describing in detail how the process of making a pair of clogs progressed. We were amazed as wood shavings piled up to see how both a left and a right clog could be made as a pair at the same time and on the same machine in minutes. Completing the tour we all found ourselves back in the factory shop where many of our group purchased some of the different types of clog both to wear and ornamental as well as some of the quality souvenir's on offer as reminders of our visit to Zeeland.    Bij dit zwembad hebben ze verschillende baden. 20cm tot 30cm voor de allerkleinste. Vervolgens hebben ze een bad wat begint met 40cm en vervolgens 110cm naar 140cm diepte. Dan hebben ze nog een bad van in totaal 180cm tot 200cm diepte voor de gediplomeerde. Bij dit laatste bad hebben ze 2 springplanken. Ook is er nog een hele lange water glijbaan (totale lengte 70 mtr). Rondom de zwembaden is er een ligweide van gras. Je kan je eigen koelbox en stoelen e.d. makkelijk meenemen om lekker op je gemak te gaan zitten. Ook zijn er diverse speeltoestellen waar de kinderen zich op kunnen vermaken. Ook kan je bij de receptie frietjes en of drinken halen. Al bij al een heerlijke plek om te zwemen. See more..
