Top places to visit

  1. 4.5 Kasteel de Haar (1.110 reviews)
    - Beautiful fairy tale castle
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Speciality Museums
    Kasteel de Haar image
The largest castle in Netherlands. It is owned by a private family, but now it has been converted to a museum and you can visit inside as well. To visit inside the ticket is 18 euros and it includes the access to the castle park. If you are only going to visit the castle park then the ticket is 7 euros. Castle looks absolutely breathtaking from outside. The view from the garden is very nice. But consider going inside as well. You can feel the luxurious life the people has led. Everything inside is in perfect conditions and expect spend around 2 hours to complete the tour. There are lockers inside the castle to keep your belongings. You are not allowed to carry back lacks or any bags with you. If you carry a extensible camera stick, you have to keep it at the shortest length possible as it could damage the property inside and as the staff told us it could trigger a safety alarm as well if you extend at the wrong place. 2. 4.5 Geertjes Hoeve (64 reviews)
    - Great place for having fun with the kids
    Spent 1-2 hours Farms
    Geertjes Hoeve image
Geertjes Hoeve is a spin off from Geertjes Farm. And it's a great addition. At the other side of the Groene Hart region, you can now have all the familiar fun. Petting and feeding the goats, riding pony's, playing in the playground and having a good bite to eat. You can do it all here. We spend a good afternoon, and will certainly be back. Highly recommended. The entrance is free, but you pay for drinks and food, also for the milk and food for the animals. The beauty is that you can make it as cheap or expensive as you like. See more..
