  1. 5.0 Wijngaard't Biezenhof (1 review)
    - Boutique winery in unexpected location
Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
Visited this beautiful little winery in Zeeland, Netherlands on a recent trip there. Ronald, the owner, self taught winemaker and outstanding host showed us around the vineyard and winery. He made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the gate and his passion and enthusiasm for his profession is contagious. Our tour concluded with tastings - very drinkable wines, well priced and made all the better by the surrounds. A unique experience amongst the many and varied wineries we have visited worldwide. Go there and enjoy! See more..

After visiting the folkloristic "Vlasdag" day in the village centre of Eede, somebody told us about this place for the blueberry. We stopped at this farm. There was a note that the asparagus season is over and from monday, June 25 begins with the blueberry. And exactly on sunday ( usually open) that we were there, it was closed. See more..

We went for a family lunch on a Saturday. We were the only ones in the restaurant but that didn't matter. We were welcomed in a very warm and friendly way and felt at home. The fire in the fireplace greatly added to the feeling of coziness. We all chose the set menu, although we still had the choice between a variety of dishes with meat or fish. With our aperitif we received different finger foods like the typical Dutch 'bitterballen' and ham. All the dishes came just in time, the food was really fresh and tasty. No complaints at the table. Being the only ones present didn't bother us much. The tab was also a positive factor. You really get good value for your money. We will certainly go back to this restaurant. I think it's a great place to stop when you're biking through the country side. See more..
