This nature reserve is quite unique because of the varied landscape. When we arrived the hail was just stopped so with all the hail that were still on the ground, it was so beautiful. We walked along the "Dinkel" river that partly very dry, the riverbank is beautiful and then we arrrived at the sandy area with only one or two green trees. After that we were back in the woody again.. Good walking path, by the way. See more..

This lovely little park was just the ticket on a cold Autumn day. The trees were so incredibly beautiful and laid out so lovely it was glorious. It takes very little time to walk around but if you stop and really immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the place you can happily give your soul a boost and fill an hour or two. 4. 4.5 De Dinkel (28 reviews)
    - Beautiful Sandy Riverbank
Nature & Wildlife Areas • Hiking Trails
    De Dinkel image
Well, after knowing that the Dinkel river is quite a long one, 89 km way from the Germany accross the border with the Netherland (Overijssel) through some towns and villages, then recrosses the border to Germany again and then joint the river Vecht, I would say that I only saw a very small part of this river. We saw it when we took a walk in the Lutterzand. At some places ( there is a sign of it ) is a resting area for the swallow and kingfisher. The sandy riverbank is beautiful. Nice area for walking. 6. 4.0 Het Bloemenbeek Monument (8 reviews)
    - Something Mystic
Spent 2-3 hours Monuments & Statues
    Het Bloemenbeek Monument image
It is well done as the artist's intention is to appear mystical. Seven sandstone menhirs and five boulders in the shape of circles and some menhirs not far from them. Well, you will jump into a conclusion that it should be a place for doing a ritual. In fact it's an artwork. It's located on an open green field, exact at the opposite of the "Landhuishotel De Bloemenbeek " ( Beunigerstraat 6 ). See more..
