Very nice boattrip next to the coast of Ameland. Good explaination of the island and things to see. During the trip you can buy drinks or something to eat. The appeltaart is delicious! The instructions were very simple and a great sport once you get the hang of it... Visiting the seals while they are resting on the sandbank is marvellous but the added value of this trip is the humorous but educational explanation of the crew when they comment on the fish they caught in the 'Waddenzee'. After only 15 minutes hanging out the fishing nets in the sea, they have plenty of fish to comment. And afterwards all of the fish goes back in the sea, alive and kicking... Al bij aankomst zagen we de prachtige en relaxte pony's en paarden staan. Een gezellige manege met leuke medewerkers. Allemaal stuk voor stuk delen ze de passie voor de paarden. Onze dochter heeft al heel wat ervaring en het is gelukt om haar toch uit te dagen en haar een heerlijke tijd te bezorgen. Agnes heeft haar fantastisch les gegeven op haar eigen paard. En met Maaike (of Meike) heeft ze heerlijke strandritten gemaakt. Een super ervaring.

In het laagdrempelige deel win je tickets en hoogdrempelige deel geld. Ons langdurig vermaakt met 15,- bij munten automaat. Personeel erg vriendelijk en diverse malen bonus ontvangen. Volgende dag de hal nogmaals bezocht.

We opted for a three hour ride through forest. dunes and beach. It was sensational! The horses were groomed, saddled and ready to be given to us upon arrival. We were given extra info about each horse as we were introduced to them. The guide was professional and ensured that we were safe and having a good ride throughout the three hours. We even stopped for an ice cream break! The ride allows you to enjoy the spectacular island of Ameland whilst in the safe hands of a wonderfully calm de Blinkert horse. Als je aankomt zie je gelijk waar het over gaat. De oude panden zien er historisch uit en zijn in zeer goede staat van onderhoud. De walvis harpoen van de vorige eeuw staat dominant in de tuin voor een van de gebouwen. Binnen wordt met beelden en video op verschillende manieren het ontstaan van het waddeneiland vertelt. Ook een leuk verhaal over een beroemde kapitein die met zijn bemanning uiteindelijk in het ijs vast kwam te zitten en de winter op Groenland door moest brengen. Verder is er in een tweede huis een verzameling bijeen gebracht van gebruik artikelen uit vroegere tijd. See more..

Anfangs hatten wir die Sauna noch für uns alleine. Dafür mussten wir ca 45 min warten und dann wieder kommen weil diese erst noch erhitzt werden musste.
Die Sauna war sehr sauber, schien frisch renoviert und hatte alles was man bei einer Sauna benötigt. Mit einer Ausnahme: ein Whirlpool fehlte. Deshalb nur die 4/5 Sternen. Ansonsten war alles gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich, die Sauna sauber. Es gibt eine 75 grad, eine 85 grad, eine infrarotsauna und ein Dampfbad. Zudem Fußbäder, warm- und kaltduschen, relaxzonen sowie einen Außenbereich. Hier schien den ganzen Tag die Sonne und trotz 3 grad Außentemperatur konnte man die Ruhepausen windgeschützt draußen sitzen.
Preislich war das ganze angemessen für das was uns hier geboten wurde. 37€ für 2 Personen für 4 Stunden. See more..
