Our family (kids age 5 and 8) had an exceptional experience on three separate outings with Diversity Scuba. This was made possible by one of the instructors, Ligogo, who we can't recommend more highly, who spent an hour in the pool with our 5 year old son teaching him to snorkel, and getting him comfortable with the gear. We went on a great ~4 hour adventure in a sailing Dhow out of Barra where we saw many sea horses and other fish in shallow water and easy snorkeling conditions for kids. We then felt brave enough to go on an open water ocean safari with Ligogo as the lead guide, where he found us dolphins, whales, and whale sharks and we were able to snorkel with them. Ligogo staid with Leo ensuring that he felt safe and comfortable the entire time - this was a highlight of our time in Mozambique! See more..

Dived 2 days with Steve in Morrungulo and it was exactly what we had hoped for and so much better. The diving setup is very professional, and different experience to what we had done before (negative entry/beach launching). We got to snorkel with humpbacks and dolphins in addition to the two dives a day - making each day incredibly good value. We didn’t stay here, but regretted not as the accommodation set up looked great and the breakfast/lunch we had there was very tasty. All in all- amazing set up, Steve is a great bloke who equal parts great fun and very professional and trustworthy with the diving. Would 100% recommend, and hope will get to return in the future! The dive shop is very well organised. Sarah is so kind and tries to help with any issue and everything is organised excellent. The dive-instructors/masters are all super friendly, helpful and I felt safe at any time! What I liked the most actually was that Tofo scuba also have local students, who are doing their dive master or instructor there. I think it’s a great way to support young local people here in Mozambique and give them a chance. I had a great time here. I saw a wale shark, leopard shark, octopus and much more. Had an amazing first dive experience at Liquid <3 Did my Open Water certification this February and totally fell in love with diving! My instructor Quinn had a calm, constructive and encouraging way of teaching and was great fun learning to dive. We stayed a week at Liquid and can only recommend the place, the rooms had a ocean view, loved to wake up hearing the waves and brekkie/food was delicious. Hope to visit Liquid soon again and continue with Advanced Open Water course. See more..

As a fairly experienced rider from the UK on my honeymoon with my wife who is not a rider. The experience is perfect, allowing me to have the freedom to ride and allowing her to have a groom assist her. We did the beach ride and another day we did the water sea ride with the horses which was magical! Paul was our instructor and his parents own the stables and their story about how they ended up in Mozambique is amazing. They have some lovely horses and the local staff who work as grooms are all lovely and some of them speak good English as well which helps if you don’t speak Portuguese. See more..

What a day! Our family dived twice in the day with Andrew and his team! They all are really professional, and they made the diving experience so great! Moreover, the spots chosen by Andrew were some of the best we have ever dived at. In one day, we saw dolphins, turtles, sting rays, reef mantas and even a black tip shark! I booked my trip to Mozambique as a solo female traveler and Marina just made a trip to remember for life! Robert is incredibly knowledgeable about all animals in we saw in Krüger park. We had many breathtaking animal sightings during the 3 days. A huge contribution to that came from Robert’s endless enthusiasm and energy to find animals, continuing to drive long days, never missing an opportunity to speak to other drivers. And especially his deep and passionate understanding of animal behavior, animal tracks and calls of monkeys and birds. Moreover he is a fun person to be around and able to connect easily. The kitesurfing centre is in a great location, close to a number of lodges, restaurants and the village center of Vilanculo. Perfect spot for beginners, downwinders and island tours. The equipment was in excellent conditions and diverse enough to cover different wind ranges and skills. The instructors are super, especially Andre who managed to make my 13 years boy kitesurf in two days. He is just so nice, patient and friendly and has the skills to teach and get you up in no time! We went yesterday with a 2 year old and a 6 month old. They are all about safety and customer service. When the water was rough all the way back they moved us to the back. Put our expenses belongings in a safety place. They made every now and then sure we were okay. We saw dolphins twice whice was odd, because of winter, they drove closer and they switched off the engine and the 5 dolphins was all around us. Very amazing experience. They went to 2 different islands. Which were amazing. The lunch they made were very good and allot made sure we were happy. They provide softdrinks, but you are able to bring your own alcohol drinks if prefer. I will suggest them for anyone. See more..

I spent five fantastic weeks at Guinjata Dive Center. The dive spots are world class and very diverse. From the gorgeous canyons at Manta Reef to the gorgeous swim through at Bat Fish you will never be disappointed with a dive. All of the staff are very knowledgeable of both what goes on in and out of the water in the area. Even after spending so much time there I'd go back in a heartbeat. We were two families with elderly parents and toddlers. A must do when you arrive to Tofo! We had an excellent guide Mito Amaral and his trainee. Mito was very professional and attentive to our experience throughout the trip. It was a culture shock to see the humble life in the bush of Tofo. We were curious about their way of life and vise-versa, so our 4+ hour stay was full of stories and laughter. I would recommend to have a song or dance to share with the others, I contributed the song ''Live is Life'' and they loved it! A hat, shorts, and closed toed shoes are a good idea when starting a fire and walking back with liters of water balanced on your head. I would and have highly recommended this experience! Moz islands and safaris Nelio, the owner is a very good guy, the communication with him was easy and eficient. He organized for us a kind of private tour to Bazaruto, Berenguera and 2 mile reef. We're only 4 people at the boat, another couple and us, appart from the tripulation(Osbaldo, the captainamd guide, Arnaldo, the cooker and Josue, the guitarrist), normally they go with 8 people. Osbaldo is a very good guy, he saw dolphins and 1 dugongo on the way, such an incredible view he has! Osbaldo saw one turtle on snorkelling in 2 mile reef, and Josue played the guitar very well while we were having lunch. The lunch was great! Fresh fish, seefood, rice, beans, salad, pinneaple and bananas. Beverages were including. We've spent such a nice time. We recommend 100% moz islands and safaris! Beny went above and beyond to make our trip from Maputo to Vilankulos seamless. He picked up my friends and I early in the day and took us safely from our Airbnb to hostel. Not only did Beny drive though, he provided entertainment, history lessons, fun coffee breaks and jokes to break the long car ride off. Once we got to Vilankulos and Beny was “off duty” he stayed with us and made sure we had a locals experience. Most importantly he made a group of 5 college-aged women feel safe. I stayed in Vilanculos for a couple of days and a guy I met recommended Paul to me. I got his Whatsapp number and whenever and wherever I needed him he came perfectly on time. One day I didn’t know what to do so I texted Paul and when he came I asked him what I could do.He then made a full city tour with me (around 3 hours). He showed me all interesting places. It was very nice to explore Vilanculos with a local. I also did a trip to the red dunes for sunset with him. He drives you there and then walks the last bit together with you (tuk tuk can‘t go into deep sand). After the sunset you walk back to the tuk tuk across the beach. What a beautiful trip it was. He also took me back to the airport perfectly on time. So whenever you need a ride in Vilanculos just text Paul.
