   Imaging yourself sitting in front of your tent, watching a spectacular sunset which turns the lake gold and the mountains behind you green bluish. When you turn your head, the horses en camels are arriving. You’re going to spend six days on horseback in the most remote area in Western Mongolia. For me it was not only imagination, but in 2015 it became real. I planned my trip to Mongolia from home and Amaraa was answering al my questions via email. So I came prepared with the right stuff and cloths. Amaraa is a wonderful guide! Why you should go traveling with Amaraa in Mongolia (North, East, West or South Mongolia): - He is not only a horseman but a real guide who is aware of the needs of you as a tourist. And I can tell you from my own experience, it makes a big difference!! - Beside Amaraa as a guide, the trip is guided by local horseman. They plan the route, because these locals know the area the best and show you the most remote places and take you to their families. - Good tents, materials for the horses and really nice food (with vegetables!) - Small groups! - Amaraa loves galloping, so you will be able to do a lot of galloping at the steppe!    What a trip I have just returned from the 9 day cycling in the Bulgan area of Mongolia .Bat and Samba our leaders were superb ,the organisation of the routes and ability to change them when needed was ideal as there were quite a few hills /mountain passes which were tough but it meant long fast downhill sections after getting to the top riding through open plains with wild horses running next to us and birds of prey soaring above us . All the teams worked tirelessly to make our trip memorable ,we had 4 support vans which included 1 van which carried all kitchen needs and when we stopped for lunch and at the beginning and end of day we were given so much tasty food ,we were never going to go hungry .The other 3 vans stayed with us during the day 1 always in front and 1 at the back picking up any stragglers and doing any repairs to the bikes when needed . Everyone was allowed to go at their own pace and if someone didnt want to tackle a hill they just had a lift in the van . At the end of everyday we arrived at the cook tent which was always busy with the staff preparing dinner ,the surrounding area was always flat so we could pitch our tents and admire the fantastic views and have a beer with our fellow cyclists who were from the USA and Canada,who were all great fun . My 3 greatest memories of a fantastic trip 1 The overnight sleeper train where we met and got to know our fellow travellers and some of the support staff 2 The long downhill sections of the ride with the wild horses ,yaks ,cows ,sheep,goats ,birds of prey and the sporadic Ger camps where Mongolian families lived off the land which we stopped and visited a couple of times 3 We had a spare day at the end of the tour and Bat organised a round of golf at the local championship course which was a real surprise Thanks Bat( Swampy) and the team for looking after us so well ,I dont think I heard any negatives from anyone .
