-Deer Stones in Mongolia
Friday: 12:00 AM - 10:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Geologic Formations
When we approached these deer stones looked like small version of Stonehenge or Easter Island. Long groups of up right stones some 1.9 m tall and engraved with patterns of dear structures, hunting knives,Bow and arrows and moon and sun. They were set up in such a way they acted like sum dials!!!! People of nobility are buried under them and not so high upnin the family are buried in a sitting position with a circular rock formation around them. Dated 900 BCE!!!!! As old as the egyptians See more..

-Much more than just a waterfall!
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Valleys
On our tour, we spent a total of 4 days and 3 nights in the Orkhon valley. While the waterfall was awesome, the highlight was the aggregate of all the beautiful scenery and hiking that was available. The waterfall was about a half-day's drive (4wd off-road of course) from a place we spent two nights that had a natural hot spring & great hiking. It was also only about an hour or two drive from the Tuvkhun monastery (temple on a mountain). While the waterfall itself wasn't that big, the canyon area around it is also a great place to spend a day or 1/2 day of hiking or exploring. My kids loved walking around it! See more..
- 4.5 Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park (52 reviews)
-Excellent view
Spent More than 3 hours National Parks • Parks
Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is a good birding place in Central Mongolia as well as beautiful natural getaway. In terms of birds, you will see thousands of Bar-headed Geese along with Swan Goose, Demoiselle Crane, Steppe Eagle and possibly Asian Dowitcher. Mongolica Safaris would recommend it to anyone. - 4.0 Tsenkher Hot Spring (35 reviews)
-The most relaxing part of the tour
Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hot Springs & Geysers
When you go on a tour of Mongolia, you go with the understanding that you won't be taking showers daily. Well, this is one of the stops where you get to not only take a shower, but relax in the hot water pumped from the nearby hot spring. Tsenkher Hot Spring itself is too hot to bathe in, but the pumped water is wonderfully relaxing. I spent hours sitting in the pool and stargazing. The herds of yacks passing by in the field next to the hot spring are neat to watch. The gers are clean and spacious and locals, as always, very welcoming. See more..
